Business secretary Kemi Badenoch has been on the receiving end of a telling off from the Commons Speaker Sir Lyndsey Hoyle.
Kemi Badenoch was scolded by the Speaker for failing to come to the Commons first to explain why the government had scrapped its promise to replace all EU laws by the end of the year.
The Business Secretary yesterday revealed the Government was scaling back a promised ‘bonfire’ of EU laws in a written statement to MPs. But before that she also penned an article for The Telegraph to explain the move.
