Leader of the Reform UK party, Nigel Farage holds press conference in London.

Nigel Farage, welcomes Robert Jenrick to the party. He was meant to appear when announced but didn’t appear! Then he appeared to applause.

Jenrick opens his speech by saying “it was time for the truth”.

Earlier, in Scotland it was revealed that Robert Jenrick was joining Reform UK. Farage, who was holding a press briefing there, indicated he was not aware of it. But the media pursued the question and he admitted to having had a conversation. He said he would probably call him or even buy him a pint.

Jenrick was sacked from the Conservative Party. Kemi Badenock said they discovered documents which indicated he had plans to resign so was asked to leave.
