King shares ‘good news’ cancer treatment reduced

The King delivered a video message to the nation with the “good news’ that his cancer treatment “dramatically reduced” in the new year.

Charles described it as ‘a personal blessing” and a ‘milestone’ in his treatment, the King said he hoped his own experience “may give encouragement” to others.

The King spoke in a video on Channel 4 as part of an evening of programming for the Stand Up to Cancer campaign.

Charles said: “Today I am able to share with you the good news. Thanks to early diagnosis, effective intervention and adherence to doctors’ orders, my own schedule of cancer treatment can be reduced in the new year”.

This news is the biggest update on the King’s health since he revealed his diagnosis in February 2024.
