Prince Harry – Potential is Waiting
The Duke of Sussex played in The Royal Salute Polo Challenge to benefit Sentebale.
Prince Harry succeeded in winning a trophy presented to him, with a kiss, by his wife Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex. The event was held in Wellington, Florida.
Harry is co-founding patron of Sentebale and participated in the event in support of Sentable’s work with young people in Lesotho and Botswana.
Later he talked about his Mother Diana’s visit to Africa and the role the polo community plays in raising funds. This for support of local teams on the ground to deliver life changing programmes.
More than 300 guests cheered on the Royal Salute Sentebale team.
As part of the programme the Duke moderated a fireside chat with Sentebale’s Board chair Dr Sophie Chandauka and Ntoli Moletsane. She is Sentebale’s Lesotho-based Country Director.

Sentebale works with young people and communities to create sustainable solutions that address issues of health, wealth inequity. Also climate resilience in the Southern African countries of Lesotho and Botswana.
The annual Polo Cup has been running since 2010, and to date has raised over £11.4 million to support Sentebale’s work. This with children and young people affected by poverty, inequality and HIV/Aids in Southern Africa.
