Nicola Sturgeon returns to parliament after arrest

Nicola Sturgeon returned to the Scottish Parliament for first time since arrest as part of an investigation into SNP finances.

The former first minister released without charge after questioned by Police Scotland for at least seven hours last week.

Ms Sturgeon told reporters at Holyrood that she’s “absolutely certain” she had done nothing wrong.

Nicola Sturgeon indicated not resigning from the SNP.

Ms Sturgeon said the party was her life and would always act in its best interests.  Sturgeon stood down as party leader and first minister in March.

Sturgeon: “I’m back in parliament today getting on with the job representing my constituents.”
