Olivia Dean - Best New Artist - Grammys 2026

British singer Olivia Dean named best new artist at the 2026 Grammy Awards.

In her speech she defended immigrants.

She said: “they leave their home, land, their country, to follow their dreams”.

Olivia Dean also said: “I’m up here as the granddaughter of an immigrant.” Her grandmother Carmen was part of the Windrush generation.

“I’m a product of bravery and I think those people deserve to be celebrated”.
