Roscosmos Spacewalk 66 – watchÂ
Two Roscosmos cosmonauts, Sergey Kud-Sverchkov and Sergei Mikaev, conducted a spacewalk outside the International Space Station.
The spacewalk began around 14:45 BST and ran for about seven hours.
The pair installed a solar radiation experiment on the Zvezda service module and removed other science hardware from locations on the Roscosmos segment of the orbiting complex. If time allows, the duo also photographed one of the Progress 94 cargo spacecraft’s Kurs rendezvous antennas.
This spacewalk is the second for Kud-Sverchkov and the first for Mikaev. Kud-Sverchkov wore a spacesuit with red stripes, and Mikaev wore a spacesuit with blue stripes. This is the 279th spacewalk in support of space station assembly, maintenance, and upgrades.
