Giant Dog Sculpture Promotes Soil

Known as Ellie, the giant dog sculpture was commissioned by Mars Pet Nutrition Europe to promote how healthy soil supports natural ingredients in pet food.  Ellie is 15ft tall in her magnificent coat made of clay and soil.  She stood alongside Somerset House in London where the “Soil: The World at Our Feet” exhibition held.

But it’s only a short visit for Ellie.  She arrived 21st March until 23 March.

Mars Pet Nutrition Europe said: We’re proud to unveil our mucky pup sculpture, building on the launch of our Beloved Soil initiative.  The company knows  pet parents care deeply bout their pets’ well-being.  We want to use this passion to help inspire more awareness and consideration for the essential role of soil.

“By embarking on our regenerative agriculture pilot, we are beginning to help support farmers to restore and protect soil and highlighting this initiative is an important part of our journey.”

Ellie described as a mucky marvel and more than a playful pup.

We understand Ellie will return to earth.
