Senior models hit catwalk
Sixty plus models are hitting the catwalk as fashion brands choose them to show-off their latest designs.
Antony Fitzgerald a mature model scout and Mother Agent at Crumb Agency in London is opening doors for senior models to be seen.
Among the seniors are Linda Malcom who began her journey just four years ago! With her is Carmella Obinyan who has been doing for some years. But the interesting thing with her is that she’s a DJ as well.

The mature model has broken boundaries as no-one thought they would.
In Australia the fashion scene is going through a revolution. There is a real uptick of mature models walking showing- off designer clothes on the catwalk.
It is understood that fashion brands are “liking a glamorous granny” in the fashion shoots. In some cases preferring them to the younger models.
Designers in the UK and across the globe are choosing them to capture a far wider audience.
