Fans pay tribute to Liam Payne
Distraught fans from across the world paid tribute to singer Liam Payne at the iconic London phone booth used on a One Direction album cover.
It’s located at Hard Rock Café in Piccadilly Circus London.
Many struggled to hold back tears as they delivered their messages for the pop icon.
We at ynuk.tv went to see how fans were reacting to the loss of Liam.
The musician passed away after falling from a hotel balcony in the Palermo neighbourhood of Buenos Aires, Argentina, on Wednesday, 16 October, police said.
Liam’s partner Cheryl said her seven-year-old son Bear has to “face the reality of never seeing his father again”.
The Girls Aloud singer and Payne were in a relationship from 2016 to 2018.
Simon Cowell also paid tribute to the One Direction, saying he is “heartbroken” and feels “empty” following the singer’s death.
Cowell put the group together on The X Facotr in 2010. Cowell remembered Payne as “kind, funny, sweet, thoughtful (and) talented”.
