Greater Manchester Police Top Force Solving Burglaries
Greater Manchester Police achieved this accolade following the launch of Operation Castle. Before this the burglary rate was 1,500 monthly. But with dedicated neighbourhood crime teams, offences dropped to 650 month.
GMP launched Operation Castle in 2021 to help tackle and reduce residential burglaries.
