PM praised Sir Keir Starmer’s “fight for justice” / expresses “shock and horror’ over Nepal floods

Andy Burnham has not been PM for long but today he faced MPs in parliament.  He spoke of having ‘a clear diagnosis of what has gone wrong.  He can bring back hope.

Burnham said local areas will get control over investment.  Adding “there will be the biggest redistribution of pwoer this country has ever seen”

It was the first time he has spoken as a minister from the dispatch box in more than 16 years.
