Sam Fender Olivia Dean – Rein Me In – breaks UK’s singles chart record

Rein Me In, the melodic love song by Sam Fender and Olivia Dean, has officially broken the longest standing record in British music history.

When asked  how it felt by Jack Saunders on BBC Radio 1’s Official Chart show, Fender said he was “speechless”.

‘Rein Me In’ spent 19 non-consecutive weeks at the top of the UK singles chart.  It overtakes the record set by American crooner Frankie Laine with his track I Believe, in 1953.
