Partner of MP held on suspicion of spying for China

One of three men arrested on suspicion of spying for China is the partner of a Labour MP.

This was annouced in the House of Commons by Security and Home Office Minister Dan Jarvis MP.

The men were taken into custody in London and Wales.

Speaker of House Sir Lindsey Hoyle confirmed the MP’s partner did not have access to the parliamentary estate.
