Replay: New Glann Mission NG-2
The New Glenn orbital launch vehicle successfully complete its second mission November 13, 2025. It deployed NASA’s Escape and Plasma Acceleration and Dynamics Explorers (ESCAPADE) twin-Spacecraft into the designation loiter orbit. It landed the fully reusable first stage on Jacklyn in the Atlantic Ocean.
Following separation, the first stage autonomously descended toward Jacklyn, a landing platform located several hundred miles downrange in the Atlantic.
New Glenn’s seven BE-4 engines ignited on Thursdat 13, 2025, at 3:55pm EST, from the Launch Complex 36 at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station.
