Badenoch tackles Starmer on taxes at PMQs

Conservative leader, Kemi Badenoch presses the Prime Minister, Keir Starmer on tax plans and whether he is still committed to Labour’s manifesto pledge.

Starmer responds by saying retail sales are “higher than expected” adding inflation “lower than expected.  Also, “plans will be laid out in the Budget”.

However, Starmer does not respond to Badenoch’s question on tax rises.  But government not shutting down the possibility.
