Conservative leader Kemi Badenoch asked question on behalf of one of the survivors of abuse. She focussed on survivor Fiona who stepped down from the inquiry’s panel.

Keir Starmer says the national grooming scandal was one of the worst of our time. Survivors have been ignored for many years including by the state.

The scandal is back in the spotlight after four abuse survivors quit their roles in it, accusing officials of watering down the inquiry by broadening its scope.

Following a question by Sir Ed Davey, Liberal democrat leader, the PM said he would back an inquiry by MPs into why the former Duke of York has lived rent-free at Royal Lodge in Windsor Park for more than two decades
