Day it didn’t rain in August – watch the scenes in the park
August is considered to be a great mid-summer month with lots of sun and heat. But rain is dominating this year. So, when a sunshine day happens many head for the park – a place for birds, dogs and people.
For weeks the UK’s weather unsettled – with widespread rain, cooler temperatures and an autumnal feel.
Today the first Met Office-named storm of the year hit the UK. with forecasters warning “unseasonably” strong winds could pose a danger to life.
Storm Antoni hit late on Friday and expected to continue into Saturday with strong winds and heavy rain forecast.
