Google under pressure from EU – for competition breaches
Google has been handed a fine of €890m (£760m) by the EU for breaches of online competition laws.
This, they say, is for self-preferencing its own services on google search and not including other services.
The European Commission, the EU’s executive arm, said Google had broken the Digital Markets Act by giving priority to it’s own services over its rivals.
