The Odyssey film and its music – it’s all original

Film The Odyssey is out in the UK July 17 and has already been praised for its music.

It is original, written and composed by Swedish musician and composer, Ludwig Göransson.

He was invited by director Christopher Nolan to write and compose a soundtrack for The Odyssey that would have a sound all of its own.

Ludwig Göransson, he’d had a conversation with Nolan who wanted completely new music for the film an he says he has done just that.  He has. not only written and composed the music but also introduced new instruments to be used while playing.

In the video he talks about how he did it and how he had a great desire to create the music for The Odyssey.
