Brit Awards – Andy Burnham ‘found a party’

Comedian Jack Whitehall, who was hosting the Brit Awards, couldn’t resist a political dig when he came across Andy Burnham, the Greater Manchester Mayor.

He referred to a recent spat inside the Labour party saying to Burnham, that the Brits was evidently “the only party he’s allowed into these day”.

It brought the house down. Burnham was sitting at a table a a number of Labour Party colleagues who seemed to enjoy the cheeky reference as well as the show.

Whitehall also ‘revealed’ who is to host Strictly Come Dancing.

During the Brit Awards in Manchester, presenter Jack Whitehall asked if he could let the secret out.

Speaking with Bez and Shaun Ryder, Jack joked he had let slip their secret before Shaun labelled him a “grass”. As those at tables surrounding the pair were left in hysterics, Jack pleaded: “Let’s manifest it.”
