Starmer: sorry for believing Mandelson lies

The Prime Minister apologises to Epstein victims for appointing Mandelson and “believing his lies”.

Keir Starmer says he understands the “anger and frustration” of Labour MPs at his decision to appoint Mandelson as UK ambassador to Washington in 2024.

He accuse Mandelson of lying during the vetting process.  He gave the impression he “barely knew” the discgraced financier.
