Covid: Former PM Boris Johnson: children paid “huge price”

Children paid a “huge price” to protect others during the Covid pandemic, Boris Johnson told the inquiry looking at the impact on young people.

Tory MP, Gavin Williamson recently told the Covid Inquiry that Boris Johnson ‘chose the NHS over children’ during pandemic decisions, prioritising hospitals over schools.

Boris Johnson will give evidence in the morning and afternoon, followed by former Home Office permanent secretary Sir Matthew Rycroft.
