The Prince of Wales urges world leaders to “think big” on their actions to protect our seas.  This as legendary broadcaster Sir David Attenborough warned about the consequences of destroying the “great treasure” – the world’s oceans.

Speaking to Sir David about the new documentary ‘Ocean with David Attenborough’, the pair had an enlightening discussion about the current state of our oceans.  Also why optimism about ocean conservation important for stabilising the climate.

Both speaking ahead of World Oceans Day on Sunday.  This when the Prince tell a UN conference in the south of France that we should act with urgency.

Also Sir David releases new film about the harm we are doing to our oceans.

The 99-year-old broadcaster and biologist says hopes the film helps ‘shift public awareness’.

Ahead of World Oceans Day, a video of a conversation between the heir to the throne and Sir David released.  The renowned conservationist talks the horror that so much damage is being done.  This to the marine environment because it is largely “hidden” from view.

Ocean protection is the focus of one of The Earthshot Prize’s categories, a global environmental award set up by Prince William
