BGT: Louise Hall brings the house down

Young mum Louise Hall takes Simon Cowell’s advice and lets go of her inhibitions for her second song. This enables her to deliver a truly gorgeous rendition of Jennifer Hudson’s ‘And I Am Telling You I’m Not Going’. A strong performance from start to finish.

However, Britain’s Got Talent fans have hit out at the show as a “fix” after Simon Cowell stopped a performance just seconds in.

Some ITV viewers have claimed the Louise Hall, from South Wales was a “set up”.

The teacher and full-time mum took to the stage with a rendition of Something Beautiful by Robbie Williams – but within seconds, Simon put his hand in the air and stopped the performance.

He then asked the singer if she had a second song choice.

Simon said: If you’re going to do this, then this obviously means a lot to you, then you’ve really got to stop overthinking this and just let go.

“That was kind of like a polite audition.”

She replied: “I will fight for this.”
