The King broke off his summer holiday to visit Southport.  He expressed continued support to the town after the tragic deaths and subsequent riots.

Bebe King, six, Elsie Dot Stancombe, seven, and Alice da Silva Aguiar, nine, died when a knifeman attacked.  This at a Taylor Swift-themed dance class on 29 July. Ten others seriously injured.

Police called to reports of a stabbing just before 11:50 BST.

Ten other people seriously injured including yoga teacher, Leanne Lucas, 35 recently readmitted to hospital.

At least 422 people in England and Wales have been charged in connection with the violent disorder.

The King to meet families and survivors, including children, in the first official visit to the town since the attack.

Also to meet frontline emergency staff and members of the community affected by the disorder.  Also regional leaders.

A 17-year-old charged with the murder of three girls and 10 counts of attempted murder.

He’s named as Axel Muganwa Rudakubana after restrictions preventing him from being identified were lifted.

Tributes also echoed by the the Prince and Princess of Wales, who sent their love and prayers “to all those involved in this horrid and heinous attack”.
