Transformers One (2024) will be the first theatrical animated movie in 38 years since the original movie: The Transformers: The Movie (1986). This movie will take place on the planet Cybertron, and will center on the relationship between Optimus Prime and Megatron going from brothers-in-arms to enemies.
This movie marks Chris Hemsworth’s animated feature film debut. The actor had joined the project after being impressed with the screenplay. Hemsworth made efforts not to use his regular speaking voice for Optimus Prime. In contrast, as per the request of Josh Cooley, Keegan-Michael Key remained close to his regular speaking voice for Bumblebee.
Steve Buscemi previously voiced Daytrader in Transformers: The Last Knight (2017).
