Business Minister, Kevin Hollinrake delivered a statement in the House of Commons on the subject of the Post Office Horizon scandal.

He said – “no stone left unturned” in seeking justice for convicted branch managers.

Between 1999 and 2015, the Post Office prosecuted 736 sub-postmasters and mistresses based on information from a computer system called Horizon

More than 700 branch managers given criminal convictions when the faulty software made it look money missing from their sites.  Up to 93 of these convictions have been overturned.

In the meantime many call for Paula Vennells, a Post Office boss to lose New Year honour in the wake of the Horizon scandal.
