Prince William surprises mother during charity walk

The Prince of Wales has surprised a mother on a mental health charity walk in memory of her late daughter.

Emma Webb was taken aback when Prince William appeared and gave her a hug as he joined her on day 13 of her fundraiser between Wales to London.

She decided to step out on the walk after losing her daughter Brodie – a promising equestrian – at age 16 to suicide in March 2020.

The campaigner who was walking with two other mothers bereaved by suicide said it meant everything that Prince William a well known champion of mental health had come to support her and he event leant a hand pushing Miles along for the 20o minutes he was there.
