Day after Rolling Stones at Hackney Empire – totally empty

The Hackney Empire theatre silent, empty but looking superb.

Twenty four hours earlier the Rolling Stones were there to launch their new album Hackney Diamonds. At the time It was crowded with fans and media. 

But, a day later it appeared as if Mick and the Stones had not been there.

ynuk.tv visited one day later to a much different scene.

It all started when an ad was placed in the Hackney Gazette advertising the special launch at the Hackney Empire.

Earlier in August, bronze statues of band members Mick Jagger and Keith Richards were unveiled in their hometown of Dartford Kent.

The Hackney Diamonds is the rolling Stones 31st in total.
