Film Awards for 2012 have taken place in Peckham. Young Sarah Peace got the top prize for her film “At The Bus Station”. In 2011, 12 year old Oscar Simmons shared best drama award in the young filmmakers competition run by the Free Film Festival

Peckham Film Awards discovered a winner in a local film maker. 25yr-old Sarah Peace got top prize at the SE15 YoungFilmmakers Awards 2012, for her film “Waiting At The Bus Station”. She based it on people who moan they’ve been waiting ‘hours’ for a bus when in fact its been minutes! Visually superb with original music
