Donald Trump will outline his “vision for the world” when he addresses the UN General Assembly later today – the first time he attends the general debate since 2020.
White House says Trump will also “touch upon how globalist institutions have significantly decayed the world order”.
The US president could also discuss the decision by several countries to recognise Palestinian statehood – a move the US opposes.
Israel says recognition rewards Hamas for their 7 October 2023 attack in which about 1,200 people were killed and 251 taken hostage
