Princess Diana’s largest ever fashion collection hits the market
Princess Diana’s timeless fashion is heading to auction once again. More than 200 personal items will be sold at an auction in Los Angeles later this month.
The garments and artifacts that showcase Diana’s “enduring influence as a fashion icon and humanitarian,” Julien’s Auctions said bound to sell fast.
Fans of pop culture royalty, rejoice! If you’ve got deep pockets, you could soon get your hands on some of Princess Diana’s most iconic outfits. Yes, we’re talking about Lady Di, a fashion icon for anyone who grew up watching her on screen.
Among the highlights is a floral silk day dress by Bellville Sassoon, worn by the Princess during her 1992 tour of southern Spain, a piece that alone is estimated to fetch between $200,000 and $300,000.
The money raised goes to a good cause.
True to Diana’s philanthropic spirit, the auction will benefit a good cause: part of the proceeds will go to Muscular Dystrophy UK, a charity that supports people living with over 60 muscle-wasting conditions. Founded in 1959, the organization funds research, provides care resources, and advocates for those affected.
Where?
The live auction takes place Thursday, June 26, at The Peninsula Beverly Hills. Registration is now open on the Julien’s Auctions website:

Princess Diana’s legacy goes far beyond fashion. She was a groundbreaking advocate for humanitarian causes, especially in raising awareness about HIV/AIDS at a time when stigma and fear surrounded the disease. Beyond HIV, Diana supported numerous charities focused on homelessness, children’s welfare, and landmine victims..
