Strictly: Sarah and Vito in Blackpool – sharp and striking moves
It is the Blackpool Tower Ballroom, Strictly Come Dancing and Sarah and Vito astonish the audience and the nation.
The Miranda star, 53, danced a Couple’s Choice to “Padam Padam” by Kylie Minogue with her professional partner Vito Coppola at Blackpool Tower Ballroom on Saturday night (16 November).
The pair have a stage on the dancefloor and flashing blue lights – Sarah and Vito’s performance makes a mark before it even started.
Their choreography had fewer twirls round the dancefloor than the previous two contestants, but their sharp, striking moves still impress the audience.
In their Strictly performance Sarah and Vito both separately do impressive jumps off the stage in their black sparkly costumes.
Judge Motsi said Sarah’s dancing smashed Blackpool.
Anton: “It was brilliantly rehearsed… it was the best thing you’ve done by miles!”
Craig said his only gripe with the routine was that it was “a little too perfect”, but that it was “spec-tac-ul-ar darling!”
Earlier, Sarah had this message: I would say to any woman out there who is my age – if you think you can’t do something you can always push yourself.”
“Doing strictly has come at right time of my life it is something I really needed.”
Judges scores: Craig 9 – Motsi 10 – Shirley 10 – Anton 10 = 39
