Production on the 7th and 8th instalments were planned to be filmed back to back. This changed after the 7th completed filming, due to Tom Cruise having to leave to do promotion for the Top Gun sequel, “Top Gun: Maverick (2022)”.
Set to be released before Tom Cruise‘s 63rd birthday. He was 33 when the first film released in 1996.
Tom Cruise and Ving Rhames are the only actors to appear in all eight films.
