The Opening Service of the Royal British Legion’s Field of Remembrance at the National Memorial Arboretum, the Nation’s year-round place to remember. The RBL welcome members of the public from across the UK to attendand honour the memory of loved ones who served in our Armed Forces.
The National Memorial Arboretum is a British site of national remembrance at Alrewas, near Lichfield, Staffordshire.
Its objective is to honour the fallen, recognise service and sacrifice, and foster pride in the British Armed Forces and civilian community.
It is open throughout the year and covering 150 acres of beautiful woodland and gardens. It’s an uplifting place that’s full of life and meaning, somewhere both young and old will enjoy.
Since planting began in 1997, the National Memorial Arboretum a special place honouring those who have served, and continue to serve, our nation in many different ways.
The National Memorial Arboretum grounds are free to enter. Though charges apply for parking and some activities. It is recommended that you book your visit in advance to guarantee entry and save money on the daily parking charge.
