AVA wins The voice
The dog groomer from Bristol with a very unique and soulful voice won the mighty competition on ITV’s The Voice.
Ava was superb on The Voice, and her team leaders Tom and Danny were over the moon with joy. They knew she could do it.
She said: I feel really honoured to be the winner speechless and forever grateful. So lucky to be in the final an amazing feeling.
Her backers were team Tom and Danny.
48 hours before the final Tom and Danny changed the song. Its a big call but we need the right one. Lets put our heads together and come up with THE song,
Team Tom and Danny: We wouldn’t take the risk if we didn’t believe in them. We want to find the song so that from the moment you sing the first line we want everyone to gasp. We have a finalist that is so good and so talented that we can take a risk by this.
The Long and Winding Road ended up being the song that Ava sang which captured the hearts of the audience and everyone across the nation.
Before the final performance Ava said: I feel the pressure I’m desperate to get it right.
And did she ever!
