Phryge-covered Taxi sensation at Paralympics Opening Ceremony – watch the journey

Phryge-covered Taxi sensation at Paralympics Opening Ceremony

The cab looked amazing as it was decorated all over with the Paralympic mascot, the Phryge.  The amazing looking cab caused a sensation as it set the opening scene for the Opening ceremony on the Champs Élysées.

French Paralympic hero Theo Curin was the driver of the Phryge taxi.  The young athlete proudly displayed his “Phryge cab” along the streets of Paris.   He enjoyed the journey through the capital Paris.

Is this cab available for your next trip to the capital? Can you ride in it?

Unfortunately, this cab is for hire.  It is due to go on display to the public but not expected to take any new passengers.

To top it off it looked even more magnificent under the sun-soaked skies of Paris.

This is one car you won’t want to lose, even in a crowded parking lot. It has to be said that its unusual decoration is unique… But very fashionable in this sporty season.

The Paris 2024 Olympic mascot, Phryge, represents freedom and showcases important historical figures of the French Republic.
