The inquiry hearing from Duncan Tait, former chief executive of Fujitsu Services Ltd.
Earlier the inquiry heard from Richard Christou, former chief executive.
The statutory inquiry led by retired high court judge Sir Wyn Williams.
This is an independent public inquiry. The public inquiry is examining the Post Office Horizon IT scandal. Also why the state-owned body hounded post office operators for more than a decade. It alleged financial shortfalls in their brance accounts and criminally prosecuting hundreds of people.
It has since emerged that these financial discrepancies were caused by IT bugs within the Post Office Horizon computer system.
Yesterday, the inquiry heard an investigator appointed to look into concerns about the Post Office’s Horizon IT system in 2012 came to believe that he was “dealing with a cover-up”. This by the state-owned body, which made “various threats” against him.
Hearings normallly take place on Tuesdays to Fridays from 09:45 to 16:30.
