The Broadcast Music Inc., BMI, celebrated the best in Gospel music March 28 at Flourish in Atlanta Georgia by honouring the best in the Gospel music industry.
Gospel legend and world-renowned evangelist Dorinda Clark-Cole honoured as a Trailblazer of Gospel Music . Dorinda is of the acclaimed Clarke Sisters given the award in recognition of Dorinda’s illustrious career. It spans over 50 years and an incomparable influence on the genre and beyond.
Jonathan McReynolds received the BMI champion Award. This the first time the accolade presented at this ceremony.
It recognised Jonathan’s artistry and impact on Gospel music.
A trailblazer of Gospel music Dorinda Clark-Cole saluted on her legendary career. Also contributions to the genre with several powerful tribute performances honouring her legacy.
The inspirational luncheon began with a celebration of music and joyful worship. Packed with an audience of outstanding performers.
Throughout the event BMI saluted the Top 25 most performed gospel songs of the previous year.
