The Voice: Tom Jones emotional tribute to late wife – “I Won’t Crumble With You If You Fall”

It is great to have The Voice UK back on our screens.  And great to see Sir Tom Jones perform.

Never a series to shy away from emotionally powerful performances, the first for this season featured a touching tribute from Tom to his late wife, Linda Trenchard.

The crowd wanted him to sing.  So, he told the story of his wife who died of cancer and how she told him he must not crumble when she’s gone.

This led to a special song he recorded when she died.

Tom Jones was perfect and he stunned the judges, the audience and the nation.
