Based on a true story about escaped convict Jeffrey Manchester who lived on the loading dock of a Toys R Us and attended Crossroads Presbyterian in Charlotte, NC. Jeffrey (Channing Tatum) was a regular at the church and befriended Crossroads parishioners and minister Ron Smith (Ben Mendelsohn). Little did anyone know Jeffrey was on the lam. Roofman portrays this wild, true tale.
