Live Aid – 40 years on – The Who

Live Aid was an event in 1985 when Rock ’n’ Roll Took on the World.  It became known as the World’s Greatest Concert.

The historic gig was held at Wembley Stadium to a packed crowd.  The occasion was also shared with Philadelphia in the USA.

At Wembley one of the most amazing performances was from The Who.  Their classic lineup consisted of lead vocalist Roger Daltrey, guitarist Pete Townshend, bassist John Entwistle and drummer Keith Moon.
