Nadine Coyle, Nicola Roberts, Kimberley Walsh and Cheryl’s reunion tour broadcast in an hour-long TV premiere. This on what would’ve been their late bandmate Sarah Harding’s 43rd birthday.
The decision to reunite was one of Sarah’s wishes for the group. It came after the star, who grew up in Stockport and part of the girl band since their inception on Popstars: The Rivals in 2002, died at the age of 39 in September 2021. This after diagnosed with terminal breast cancer.
The Girls Aloud Show: Live at The O2 – recorded in London at the end of June during the tour. It saw the band play to over 300,000 people, earlier this year featured emotional tributes to Sarah, is now set to be shown on TV for the first time.
Show highlights some sneak peeks behind-the-scenes and airs as a one hour special.
The tour was a celebration of Girls Aloud’s rich back catalogue and the ground-breaking success achieved as a band.
