Strictly: Amy says JB and Lauren – ‘Dream Team’

The Strictly Come Dancing professional dancer Amy Dowden said celebrity partner JLS singer JB Gill, fellow dancer Lauren Oakley and herself have been a “real dream team”.  This as she appeared on tonight’s live show on the BBC.

Watching on from the studio with presenter Claudia Winkleman, the 34-year-old dancer seen wearing an all-black outfit and poppy as she applauded the couples up the stairs.  This after missing out on performing in tonight’s episode due to illness.

Amy the professional dancer missed last Sunday’s results programme after taken to Barnet Hospital from the BBC One show’s production centre, Elstree Studios, as a “precaution” after the star began “feeling unwell”.

Her celebrity partner JB had been paired with Lauren Oakley for icons week on the BBC show while Amy recovers. JB and Lauren will be performing a couple’s choice dance tonight as they pay tribute to Bruno Mars.

Tessa introduced JB Gill and Lauren Oakley ahead of their Couple’s Choice to a Bruno Mars medley.

The JLS singer JB said that he wanted to make Amy proud.

After taking to the dance floor, the JLS star earned an impressive judges score of 39 out of 40.
