The singer, actor says: “Strictly is just what a woman my age needs.”
Toyah’s been paired up with the dancer Neil Jones for the show. “I’m 24 years older than my pro and I adore him. We have so much in common. But the curse is not an issue because of the trust and respect we have. That’s friendship.” Toyah also admitted it made her fee menopausal.
No doubt Toyah Willcox was eager to get on the dance floor. It was time to Tango on the BBC’s Strictly Come Dancing show! And she didn’t stop until the music stopped. But did she dance well?
Toyah’s partner Neil loved her performance but the judges had different views.
Craig gave her 2, Motsi was kinder with 4, Shirley sided with Craig (first time ever) and came up with 2 and Anton du Beck voted 4. TOTAL 12
Willcox the oldest and the shortest contestant this year — she is 5ft 1in.
Toyah Willcox born with a twisted spine and developmental problems with feet and hips. She endured years of physiotherapy and surgery as a child. She had a hip replacement in her fifties.
