The old and new cast gathered to walk the red carpet at The Corinthia Hotel in London 29 August 2024. Michael Keaton, lead star said his role was like ‘riding a bike’.
The latest Beetlejuice Beetlejuice is a long awaited sequel to the first film released in 1988. So fans overjoyed to catch a glimpse of the hollywood stars.
Winona, who starred in the original movie in 1988 when she was 16-years-old, has reprised her role as Lydia in Tim Burton‘s Beetlejuice sequel while Jenna, portrays her daughter Astrid Deetz.
Michael Keaton, 72, and Tim Burton, director, have reunited in the sequel to the 1988 comedy classic which sees him reprise his role as the titular foul-mouthed ghost.
Tim revealed he considered retiring from film-making. This after the disappointing reception of his live-action big budget Dumbo film for Disney.
A synopsis of Beetlejuice Beetlejuice reads: ‘Three generations of the Deetz family return home to Winter River after an unexpected family tragedy’.
Film opens September 6.
