A U.S. marshal boards a small plane to transfer a government witness to New York. As they cross the Alaskan wilderness, tensions start to rise – not everyone on the flight is who they appear to be.

Flight Risk supposedly started filming on June 16th, but was halted due to the SAG Strike. Recently, however, Gibson’s Flight Risk was granted a waiver to resume filming.

Mel Gibson only directed five feature films since his 1993 debut The Man Without a Face. He often takes long breaks between films; Hacksaw Ridge released seven years ago. Before Gibson gets to Flight Risk, he’s already in pre-production on The Passion of the Christ: Resurrection. This a sequel to his 2004 box office hit.

Mark Wahlberg had to shave his head everyday for the look of playing a balding hitman.
