Elisabeth Sparkle, renowned for an aerobics show, faces a devastating blow on her 50th birthday as her boss fires her. Amid her distress, a laboratory offers her a substance which promises to transform her into an enhanced version of herself.

Ray Liotta was cast in the film in February 2022. He died in May that year before he could film his scenes. Dennis Quaid replaced him as a result.

Demi Moore said she was nervous about filming full nudity at age 61 and felt vulnerable but she credited co-star Margaret Qualley, 29, who played a younger version of her and also performed totally naked, with making her feel comfortable on set. Moore said she found “someone who was a great partner who I felt very safe with. We obviously were quite close — naked — and we also got a lot of levity in those moments at how absurd those certain situations were.”
