Movember is a campaign to encourage men in the UK pledge to grow moustaches for the month of November. Stats released 2 February 2018 show a man dies every 45 minutes from prostate cancer.
The campaign raises funds to help them take on the challenge not only to look different but also to raise awareness to prostate and testicular cancer through events and charity causes.
For 30 days they champion the moustache and raise funds for men’s health. It’s a campaign that works. Support is worldwide. But is the message getting across. The new stats are not encouraging

During an interview with ynuk.tv, co-founder of Movember, JC, said 2012 had been the best year for the fraternity. He praised Social Networks for the massive number of conversations their platforms raised.

Through the month of November campaign, millions of men across the globe are now more aware of Prostrate and Testicular cancer and how to keep healthy. During the 4 weeks of November Mo Bros in the UK grow moustaches and raise funds, with Mo Sistas supporting them. Gillette also helped with a pop-up barbers offering free shaves and trims. ynuk.tv found one in London’s Carnaby Street.
